Student Awards Program

Invitation
In order to encourage and recognize excellence in landscape architecture and to dramatize to the public the variety, scope and value of landscape architectural services, the Pennsylvania Delaware Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects hereby invites your participation in the 2017 PA–DE ASLA Awards Program.

Eligibility                                                                                                                                                                                

The Student Awards Program is open to all students currently enrolled or recent graduate (within one year) of a PA or DE landscape architectural curriculum.  The submission work must be associated with the student's academic pursuits. Students must also be a Student Member of ASLA with the exception of the Student Collaboration Category.

Jury
To judge the Awards Program entries, a distinguished jury panel will be assembled.

Awards
Awards will be given for General Design, Residential Design, Analysis and Planning, Research, Communications, Student Collaboration, and Student Community Service Award. Award Categories Honor, Merit and Special Recognition Awards may be given in each category. Entries will be judged on quality of design or presentation, functionalism, context and surrounding relationships, technological advancements, pioneering efforts, and overall significance to the profession.
