DesignDC 2010: Insight & Innovation

A new economic outlook, shifts in the residential and commercial building markets and Federal stimulus bills place architects, builders, engineers, planners in vital positions key to the recovery and improvement of the nation's economy - and of the built environment. 

To  facilitate conversations, insight, discussion and strategy to take advantage of these opportunities, the Washington Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA|DC), Potomac Valley AIA (AIA|PV) and the Northern Virginia Chapter of the AIA (AIA|NoVA) announce DesignDC 2010: Insight & Innovation, August 3-5, 2010, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.  This conference brings these issues and more to the table and  the classroom for architecture and design professionals to engage in productive ways.

For three days, more than 70 classes, peer-to-peer sessions and project tours will be delivered by some of design's most visionary practitioners and thought leaders. Attendees may also earn Learning Units (LU) to maintain AIA certification, including HSW and SD credits.
