Purpose:

The Education and Professional Development Committee is responsible for developing programs that assist landscape architects in keeping up with the latest technologies of the profession, and that educate high school students and counselors about landscape architecture.

Tasks:

The Education and Professional Development Committee has been charged by the Chapter Executive Committee to perform the following tasks:

Short Term:

• Identify and evaluate CEU programs for the Chapter.

• Address questions pertaining to CEU; coordinate answers with the LA Registration Board.

• Investigate/support LARE review session.

• Coordinate 2009 CIP Grant (Sowing the Seeds of Landscape Architecture)

Long Term:

• Develop tools, or work with National ASLA to develop tools, to educate high school stu-dents.  Research current efforts by individuals or companies within the Chapter

Members are the Section chairs or Co-chair.
