59th Annual Shade Tree Symposium

Penn-Del ISA’s 59^th Annual Shade Tre Symposium will be held at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center on March 25^th and 26^th, 2024. This will be a new location for our conference as we heard many concerns regarding  parking and ease of travel to the symposium. We also know that there have been many exhibitors that have expressed frustrations regarding getting equipment onto the trade show floor which has resulted in a smaller trade show over the past few years.

The final touches are being made to the agenda. Once all of the speakers and sessions are confirmed, the agenda will be announced and the credit amounts will be updated. At this point, the Symposium Committee expects the participants to be able to earn a minimum of 5 ISA Certified Arborist CEU’s per day. We will also be applying for Pennsylvania Pesticide Applicator Credits and Delaware Pesticide Applicator Credits. Additional crediting agencies are being looked into and will be announced.

There will be a ‘Pest Walk’ on Sunday, March 24^th hosted by Sandy Feather from the Penn State Cooperative Extension. This additional session will be offered at no additional charge to registered attendees. Reservations are required for this session during the registration process.
