Support Student Engagement & Professional Development

Each year, PA-DE ASLA coordinates registration and travel for the six ASLA Student Chapter presidents or vice presidents at LA programs in Pennsylvania and Delaware to attend the annual ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture. Contributions to the PA-DE ASLA Student Leadership Development Grant support ONLY registration and travel costs associated with attendance at the Conference. In addition to individual or firm contributions, the student scholarships are also funded by annual contributions from the Central, Delaware, Eastern, and Western Sections of the PA-DE Chapter.

Your generous contribution allows PA-DE ASLA to serve its student members by promoting their professional development as landscape architecture’s future leaders. As recipients of Student Scholarship Fund support, students are asked to submit an essay and photos documenting their experience at the ASLA Conference, which are published in ePLAN and on www.padeasla.org.

What’s in it for you/your firm?

As a thank-you for your support, individual and firm donors are recognized on the PA-DE ASLA website (see below), in ePLAN (PA-DE ASLA’s weekly member e-newsletter), in the 2022 PA-DE ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture onsite program book, and verbally from the podium at the conference.

PA-DE ASLA is a 501(c)(6) organization. Per IRS rules, contributions to section 501(c)(6) organizations are not deductible as charitable contributions on the donor’s federal income tax return. They may be deductible as trade or business expenses if ordinary and necessary in the conduct of the taxpayer’s business.
