Purpose:
The Professional Development Committee is responsible for developing programs that assist landscape architects in keeping up with the latest technologies of the profession, and that educate high school students and counselors about landscape architecture.
Tasks:
The Professional Development Committee has been charged by the Chapter Executive Committee to perform the following tasks:
Short Term:
- Identify and evaluate continuing education (CE) programs for the Chapter.
- Address questions pertaining to CE; coordinate answers with the LA Registration Board.
- Investigate/support LARE review sessions.
Long Term:
- Develop tools, or work with National ASLA to develop tools, to educate high school students. Research current efforts by individuals or companies within the Chapter.
Committee Representation:
Members shall include the Section Chairs or Co-Chairs.
