In response to the recent deaths of numerous people of color and people who have been marginalized, and in support of national ASLA’s public statements and partnership with the Black Landscape Architect Network (BlackLAN,) the PA-DE ASLA Executive Committee discussed and considered ways to promote and amplify diversity and equity in all our Chapter efforts. It is important that PA-DE ASLA take a stand on a behalf of all of its members and work to expand access and increase awareness about racism, inequity, and underrepresentation.

On June 23rd, 2020, the PA-DE ASLA Executive Committee adopted a resolution to formally assert the Chapter’s position and commit to specific action items.
